Achieving Balance

It normally takes 120-180 days to restore adrenal balance.  Once the adrenals are balanced, we can focus on restoring healthy ratios of the steroid sex hormones (estridiol, progesterone and testosterone).  When the body in in the 'stress mode' for an extended period of time, steriod sex hormones are converted to the adrenal hormones DHEA and cortisol.  This misappropriation, due to stress, is the primary cause of abnormal sex hormone levels and ratios.  If the adrenal dysfunction is not corrected first, any sex hormone that is supplemented, including progesterone or estrogen, will be converted to a stress hormone. This is why our three step method is the way to achieve total balance.
